BLUE- an evening by The Elegists
Come with us to the launch of our zine's second issue, on the topic of blue! We will be hosting an outdoor exhibition as well as live music and poetry performances.
The Elegists is a socio-political and artistic collective which doe not seek profit, through this we aim to create inclusive and fertile spaces for radical change and creativity. Each issue of our zine takes abstract topics which can be explored by our contributors in a mirage of ways, bringing together works of the personal, political, and everything in between. We are very exctied to be hosting an array of incredible artists and to be sharing our second issue with all of you!
All proceeds of the event will go towards the LGBTQ + charity 'London Friends' which has provided support to LGBTQ+ communities for 50 years, with support provided for everything from mental health to addicition, as well as supporting LGBTQ+ migrant and refugees in London. With the aim to support this incredible cost is that we have ticketed this event. (We must note that tickets will be £10 on the door). If you would like to attend the event but are unable to afford the entry fee please email us at: theelegists.collective@gmail.com and we will try to provide a discount or free entry.
In addition to granting you access to the event, every ticket will be entered into a raffle giving you the chance to win an original work of art by one of our incredible members!
Thank you for your time and support, we do hope to see you there!
Unspectacularly yours,
The Elegists
